For a few weeks I’ve been thinking about making My Little Pony plushies! This is because they would possibly be more profitable and tonnes cuter than customized pony dolls (my original plan that never really got off the ground).

Today my friend Tash was talking about ponies and she said “Heyyyyyyy Lindseyyyyyyy.” And I said “What?” And she said “You know how you’re really good at sewinggggg, well if you thought about making pony plushies, I would pay enough to make up for materials and labour!”

I mentioned that I had thought about it and that was my motivation to get started, and at least try it out! Anyway I have tonnes of white and black fabric left over, so I thought I could just practice on that, so I made up a quick design for a Practice Pony! Her name is Chequerboard, she is an overzealous check-out chick and she is an Alicorn because it will help me practice horns and wings at the same time!
